Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust

I am delighted to announce that I have been awarded the very first Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust ADAM Architecture Scholarship for Passementerie! My scholarship will enable me to undertake advanced level training in traditional off-loom passementerie skills. I will be learning from master craftspeople Brian Turner, Clare Hedges and Declercq Passementiers in Paris.

My training will ensure that these rare and precious passementerie skills will be safeguarded for generations to come, ensuring that the traditional practice of hand made passementerie continues to be produced in the UK.

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust supports excellence in British craftsmanship through awarding scholarships to craftspeople and artists that put exceptional hand making skills at the forefront of their practice. ADAM Architecture, the leading practice specialising in classical and traditional architecture and contextual urban design, is generously supporting my scholarship. Thank you to everyone at ADAM Architecture and QEST for their wonderful and generous support.
